Craft & Hobby Association - Serving the International Craft and Hobby Industries View the CHA Backgrounder The Impact of Hispanic Crafters on the U.S. Craft Industry During the Fall of 2002, CHA contacted Cultural Access Group (CAG), an award-winning multicultural market research consulting firm, to study the impact of Hispanic crafters on the U.S. craft industry. The Association sought to demonstrate the Hispanic community, now the largest minority segment in the United States, represents a growth opportunity for the craft industry. In the second phase of this study, scheduled to commence later in 2003, CHA will seek to identify opportunities to further engage Hispanic crafters and better understand their shopping habits.
