ANDRIA LAJEUNESSE, CEM JOINS THE CRAFT & HOBBY ASSOCIATION AS DIRECTOR OF EVENTS AND EXPOSITIONS


The Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Andria LaJeunesse, CEM, as Director of Events and Expositions starting December 2015.

In her role at CHA, Andria will be responsible for all operational and planning functions pertaining to CHA’s annual events, conferences and trade shows. Andria brings with her over fourteen years of broad experience in trade and consumer shows, conferences and events as well as previous experience and knowledge of the craft industry.

“We are thrilled to have Andria LaJeunesse return to the Craft & Hobby Association, in the capacity of Director of Events and Expositions” said Mark Hill, President and CEO, CHA. “Andria brings a wealth of experience in the events and trade show space, and her prior knowledge and experience in the craft industry are definitely an asset to the Association”.

 

Previously, Andria worked at Professional Management Associates, LLC (PMA), as Senior Manager of Meeting Services where she was responsible for overseeing the meetings department and the planning and management of meetings for association clients.

Prior to her time with PMA, Andria worked at the Craft & Hobby Association from 2009-2014 where she served as the Events and Exhibitions Manager, for the two annual conferences and trade shows. She was also responsible for planning international events for the Association’s international chapters as well as managing the development of event technology and software.

 

Andria also spent eight years with International Exhibitions, Inc. in Houston as the Logistics/Event Manager and received her Certification in Exhibition Management (CEM) from the International Association of Exhibitions and Events.
