CHA Announces Top Honors at Summer Show

Elmwood Park, NJ, USA; July 28, 2010 —The Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) today announced the winners of the 2010 CHA Summer Show Awards including the Innovations Showcase, Golden Press Kit, Designer Press Kit, and Exhibiting With Excellence awards. Each award recognizes excellence in a given field and was presented at the 2010 Summer Convention & Trade Show in Rosemont, Illinois on July 27.

The coveted awards represent the industry’s most prestigious recognition for product innovation, trade show exhibition, and press kit design. Judged by Wendy Russell of She’s Crafty TV, Denise O’Neal of the Chicago Sun-Times, Sarah Moore of CraftCritique.com and two-time Emmy Award winner Terri O, CHA member companies were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the craft and hobby industry.

2010 INNOVATIONS SHOWCASE WINNERS
The Innovations Showcase brought together the newest ideas and most innovative products from over 55 exhibiting companies. CHA celebrity media judges selected the best products of the Show, as well as the “Overall Best Innovation.” Winners were:


EXHIBITING WITH EXCELLENCE
The CHA Exhibiting with Excellence Award was presented to one company whose dynamic displays, merchandising techniques and inviting staff enhance the overall atmosphere of the show floor not necessarily on the size of the booth. The judging criteria included use of floor space, visual appeal of exhibitor booths, and overall presence and friendliness of staff.
