This call for nominations is an opportunity for individual CHA members to nominate themselves or others to serve on the 2007 Nominating Committee in the coming year. From this pool of nominated members, a member-wide vote will be conducted to narrow the selection of candidates to 5 persons: 3 member reps and 2 alternates (in case an elected representative cannot serve). The deadline for submissions is Nov. 24, 2006.

As one of the most important volunteer committees in CHA, the 2007 Nominating Committee will meet at the 2007 CHA Summer Show (Rosemont, IL) to interview candidates nominated to the 2008 Board of Directors (the call for board nominees will be conducted in March 2007).

Three board directors will be appointed to complete this 6-person committee in February 2007.

To be eligible to serve on the 2007 Nominating Committee, individuals must be employed by a voting CHA member company.

  • You may nominate yourself or any eligible association member you believe to be qualified. It is preferable that you ascertain the interest of your nominee prior to forwarding his or her name.
  • There is no limit to the number of nominees one can submit. Please refresh this form, complete the information and re-submit as needed.
  • All submissions are due by Nov. 24, 2006.
  • The voting will be conducted via paper ballot and by online voting up until close of business on Jan. 29, 2007.
  • The member representatives elected to serve will be announced and introduced at the [Event #E508] Annual Business Meeting Breakfast, Jan. 30, 2007, 7:30-9:00am, in Ballroom ABC, Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, CA.
